Twelfth edition of Toronto International Art Fair

The 2011 Toronto International Art Fair, Toronto will start from October 28 to October 31, 2011. The Metro Toronto Convention Center will host the Toronto International Art Fair's twelfth edition. The fair will be organised by Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. (MMPI), the company behind the Armory Show, Art Platform Los Angeles, Volta Basel, Volta NY, Art Chicago and NEXT. The event is now an important event from North America.
The fair will open on 27 October with a ceremony and a fund-raising event organised by the Art Gallery of Ontario. 
Many events will mark the celebrations, such as three conferences, several exhibitions dedicated to video games, collage, large-scale works of art and Canadian contemporary art. A video library will also be built for the occasion.
The organisers are expecting more than a hundred exhibitors, most of them from Canada, the US and Europe. This year, the selection committee is composed of eight judges from Montreal, Toronto and New York.
